TUBITAK Research Support Programs Directorate (ARDEB) Information Session Held at the Engineering Faculty

The Information Session organized by Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa Project and Technology Office and Istanbul Technology Transfer Office held at the Engineering Faculty conference hall, on 15th of April 2019.

Acting president of TUBITAK ARDEB Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cengiz ARICI came together with the academic staff and students to inform them about TUBITAK ARDEB’s national and international support programs.

Vice Rector Ph. D. Erol İnce said: “104 TUBITAK project applications have been made by the University since the beginning of 2019. We collaborated with fifty different universities in these applications, and eighty-three of them are currently ongoing. Moreover, there are thirteen active projects held by the EU and International Projects Unit. As the University Rectorate, we give full attention to project processes and externally funded projects. The preservation of ‘Research University’ name requires us to emphasize this matter,” in his opening speech.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arıcı stated that he was delighted with the number of project applications made by the institutions under the Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa.

“The consistency between the number of project applications and participation to TUBITAK meetings from Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa is very pleasing for us,” he said.
