Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa hosted the Briefing Meeting of Zero Waste Project

Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization Ministry and Istanbul University – Cerrhapasa Environmental Engineering department of Faculty of Engineering held a collaborative briefing as a part of the “Zero Waste Project” protocol.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bilgin attended the briefing together with Günay Öztürk, assistant governor liable for Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization Ministry, personnel of Provincial Directorate; vice deans of the university faculties and directors of vocational schools.

Following the speech of Head of Environmental Engineering department Prof. Dr. Bülent Armağan about objective, content and importance of the Zero Waste Project, environmental engineer Özlem Babacan from Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization informed participants about necessary actions that should be done by the university departments in the scope of the protocol.
