Governorship of Istanbul and Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa signed Cooperation Protocol within the sphere of the Zero Waste Project

Governorship of Istanbul, Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa, Marmara University and Istanbul University signed a Cooperation Protocol within the sphere of Zero Waste Project carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

During the ceremony held in the building of Governorship of Istanbul on 11th of March 2019, the protocol signed by the Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, the Rector of Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa Prof. Dr. Nuri Aydın, the Rector of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and the Rector of Istanbul University Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak.

Governor Yerlikaya: “I offer my gratitude to Rectors and everyone who is going to be part of this splendid project. We signed this contract relying on the environmental engineering related departments of our universities. I hope that this environmentalist, urbanization and life heeding project brings good luck. I hope to carry out this project throughout Istanbul city,” said in his speech during the ceremony.
