IUC 3rd Research Groups Workshop

Organized by İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Project and Technology Office, the 3rd Research Groups Workshop was held on March 3-4.

IUC 3rd Research Groups Workshop was held on 3-4 March 2021 to encourage interdisciplinary studies in the institution, to enable existing research groups to recognize each other, to increase the research capacity and effectiveness of our institution, and to enable academicians working in different fields to recognize each other.

The organization held online due to the pandemic aimed to enable the groups working in different fields to recognize other groups in other departments, to connect the departments, and to increase the academic work made collaboratively.

The opening speech of the workshop, in which hundreds of researchers from different academic units of our university participated, was given by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Erol İnce.  Prof. Dr. İnce, in his speech, started by stating that the outcomes of the workshops, the first two of which were held in the previous years, were constructive, and he added that he hoped that the joint projects and publications of the researches working in the academic fields of the University will increasingly continue.

Following his speech, Prof. Dr. Erol İnce talked about the scientific projects and publishings and, ended his speech by thanking all those who contributed to the organization of the workshop and the participants.

After the opening speech, the program continued with the first-day session. Presentattions were made under the moderation of IÜC PROTEK Director Prof. Dr. H. Kurtuluş Özcan.

The second day of the workshop held on March 4 was moderated by the Faculty of Veterinary Science Clinical Sciences member Prof. Dr. Serhat Pabuccuoglu. Similar to the first day, presentations were made by valuable researchers. The presentations given on the second day were as follows:
